                                            Davita's Funtastic Gymnastics:

                 Davita's Funtastic Gymnastics is the home of The Charleston Twisters Team.  It is a very

                          successful competitive program that focuses on developing the entire person.  Our program

           strives to promote strength of character, pride of accomplishment, discipline, and self-esteem,           

                         while maintaining an exciting, competitive environment.  In order for the program to be

successful, we expect each of our gymnasts to do their best and to expect the best out of their

                        teammates.  Head coaches are Davita and Tony Ivey.  

                        Davita is the director of the girls team and has been coaching since 1976.  She is the South

                        Carolina State TOPs Chairperson, a USAG Optional rated judge, as well as a mother of 2 gymnasts

                        and 2 coaches.  Tony has been coaching since 1991 and is the South Carolina Men's Program State

                        Chairman.  He was named Coach of the Year in 2000.  Tony is director of the Boy's Team Program

                        as well as the Recreational Program director.
